A case of triple hit lymphoma and rapid deterioration

Triple hit lymphomas (THL) comprise a rare, heterogenous group of and like many B-cell lymphomas, chromosomal translocations are biologic diagnostic hallmarks disease. Traditionally referred to as subset double (DHL) in literature, THLs characteristically involve rearrangements c-MYC, BCL-2, BCL-6 oncogenes. Many case series high-grade lymphoma, especially MYC/BCL2 have been described the but relatively few cases triple lymphoma reported. Additionally, without chemotherapy, known rapid clinical course poor prognosis compared lymphomas. Here we present MYC/BCL2/BCL6 patient previously diagnosed with marginal at stage IIA after biopsy intra-abdominal lymph nodes status post one treatment rituximab bendamustine. Unfortunately, this had decline presumed central nervous system (CNS) infiltration passed away within 30 days diagnosis.
